Eclosion Consulting was founded in 2015 on the principles of quality, efficiency, and simplicity with a plan to push the bounderies of what is possible in websites, mobile apps, and games.

Our portfolio is quickly expanding to include projects across a large variety of medias and target demographics. With a veteran team of industry specialists, we have what it takes to get your project completed with the highest standard of quality, in the most effecient way possible, using the latest and most advanced technology.

After working in the software design and development business for many years, our founder, Lucas Stufflebeam, noticed that most of the companies he was working for were all about doing as little work as possible and getting paid as much as possible. He then had a crazy thought: why not actually do the work you are being paid for instead of throwing together a barely working mess in an hour and calling it a completed project. This is the idea that Eclosion Consulting was founded on. We strive to build high quality websites, mobile apps, and video games that work perfectly, are efficient, well designed, and made from the ground up to fit your needs exactly.

We want your product to be successful, and to be successful, it has to be built by a team that knows what they are doing. Here at Eclosion Consulting we have a team of industry specialists with experience working on all types of projects, across hundreds of different technologies and methodologies. Our team has experiencing working on everything from small Wordpress themes, content updated to existing website, simple mobile games, and children's games to huge multi-year website projects, realtime mobile apps, and big console games. Leadership

Our team is lead by industry veteran Lucas Stuffleam. Lucas began his career with a full time game programming position while still a freshman in college. He worked on Nintendo DS, 3DS, PS3, and XBox games and shipped 14 games over the next several years before moving into the mobile world. He began work for Aeria Games and Entertainment as a senior programmer where he developed his advanced database and network programming skills for the next few years. It was here that Lucas began to notice the lack of quality and pride many companies place in their products. This feeling would only grow. Thanks in part to Lucas almost doubling the userbase for several of Aeria Game's mobile products, the company was sold to a large European corporation. Lucas then put his skills to the test by working as the lead network programmer on realtime games and realtime websites. Again noticing the lack of quality to which these products were made, he decided to do something about it. Lucas founded Eclosion Consulting in January 2015 to provide an option for software that is not thrown together but built from the ground up to be exactly what it should be. Lucas takes pride in his work and in all of Eclosion's work. He personally ensures all of our products are to the highest standard.

Portfolio

Eclosion Consulting has not been around that long but we have already gained a modest portfolio with serveral big name clients. Below you will see a list of some of our recent projects.

One of the very first projects Eclosion Consulting picked up was an internal training site for McDonald's. This site was designed to be used as part of McDonald's Learning Management System and teach new employees how to use the mobile app and how to answer questions for customers. The site contained a large collection of instructional text, PDFs, video segments, and animations. The site was developed over a 3 month period and features an impressive single page design, allowing for users to navigate the entire site without ever feeling like they had switched pages.

Challenges

While developing McDonald's Internal Mobile Training Site we came across a few challenges that we had to overcome to make this project a success.

• Loading all content dynamically without interupting the user experience
• Logging in once using a global login
• Supporting HTML5 content on non-HTML5 browsers
• Supporting Flash content on mobile devices
• Ensuring fast load times on an old, very slow network
• Allowing McDonald's to add or change content without our assistance

24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell is a huge rock climbing competition that takes place every year in Arkansas. Eclosion Consulting was hired to develop an updated scoring system for the competition. We created a brand new website that allowed climbers to register for the event and view their scores and rankings. Most of the development work for this site was in the admin controls where event staff could enter scores for climbers and manage every aspect of the event. The public facing side of this site is still under construction but the current version can be viewed at http://horseshoehellapp.com

The admin pages, although not visible to the public, has the following features:

• Register spectators for the event
• Check-in climbers at the event
• View awards and results with prizes
• Find users and update account settings
• Send mass emails to all event registants
• View admin actions and undo previous actions
• View and update scorecard information including route information and points
• View lottery entries and run the lottery to select climbers for the event
• Manually register climbers and add climbers eligible for registration
• View currently registered climbers and change information as needed
• Add individual scores for climbers using fully interactive scorecard
• Set up new events with a large number of registration settings

Created to work in conjuction with the 24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell Scoring Site, this app allows climbers to keep track of their personal score during the event. The Horseshoe Hell staff presented us with the problem of entering tens of thousands of scores each year after the event and many climbers complaining that their scores were not entered correctly. To solve this problem we came up with this scoring app. Climbers can login using the same account information they created with their registration on the website. After logging in climbers can mark walls they climbed during the event, view their progress, set goals for the event, and view competitors scores.
